1.5 weeks down!

Well, a week and a half has gone by and we are still here! It is quite an adjustment to add another member to our little family. Mom and Dad LiaBraaten are still here, but are leaving in the morning to head back to Alaska. Now for the real test! It has been fun and very helpful to have them here!!
Here are a few more pictures for now.....hope to get some more up soon.

Baby Weston is here!
It all went pretty quick. Monday, I wasn't feeling very good and got antsy about things. Called the doctor and told him what was happening. He wanted me to come in so I came in around 2. Mom and Dad LiaBraaten were in Marysville so they decided that they should come over just in case something was really happening. I was far enough through labor that we went strait to the hospital and got ready for surgery. It was pretty obvious that I wasn't going to make it to Friday (the scheduled day) and we didn't want to go into full blown labor if we could help it.
Weston was born at 4:32 Monday afternoon. He weighed 8.3oz and was 191/2 in. Kenyon is convinced he is longer, that the nurse didn't stretch him out enough!! I wasn't there, so we'll see as we have our first appointment with the pediatrician on Friday.
We came home today, Wednesday, and are getting settled at home. It was a little different as no one under the age of 16 was allowed into the ob ward. Ben and Tamara and fam came to see us Mon. and left Tues. The kids weren't allowed in so we took a couple of trips to the nursery to show them Weston through the window. Kind of hard for Korbin I think because he was so excited to see his new baby brother. Well, this is the short version, but wanted to let you know that things are going well!

Thanksgiving in Idaho

Grampa, Lady, and Korbin

Buddies!!

Newest question: "Mom, when are we going to get a dog?"
Answer: "You'll have to talk to your dad about that."

Out on the swing....

Thanksgiving.......yum! We got to spend a whole week in Rupert for Tday. It seems like we did everything and nothing at the same time and managed to eat during all of it!! Nothing like being up on the farm and getting to ride the 4wheeler, feed the dog, cows, and horse!! Korbin sure enjoyed running around anywhere and everywhere. Lady (Grama Pam and Grampa Kalvin's new dog) is one of his new best friends and is always talking about her. It's nice to not have to worry about the busy road. It was really good to be with Kenyon's whole family again! We went into Twin Falls one day and went down into the Snake River Canyon.....beautiful!! Hope everyone had a good turkey day!

Happy Birthday Korbin!!

Turning 4 is soooo much fun! We had a little get together after meeting on sunday with a few friends.....the Forbes', Schulz's, and VanDenBerg's. Very fun times for everyone.

A new chair!!

We got a HUGE package from the Miller clan sitting on our doorstep. Kind of hard to hide from the little guy! Can't believe he is 4. Had more fun with the box at first~

Thank you!

Halloween

So, it's been a long time! Things have been very busy this last year! Korbin is growing up fast and has started preschool. He loves it and is learning how to be with other kids:) Here are some of his friends on Halloween.
